Over the years I have heard this TfL automated message several times. It sounds like it was recorded a long time ago. Male voice.

"Could Inspector Sands please report to the control room"

Or something to that effect anyway.

I used to work in a music venue where the code word for a fire was Mr Sands, but it was abandoned in favour of a code word that isn't commonly used.

Funny how I get annoyed at the message rather than get worried about the potential of my demise. I've heard it a few times over the years but never actually witnessed a fire though, so I must be doing something right.

Suggestions for a new one?
